Live Well, Die Well
Dying to Know Day Morning Tea
What questions have you always wanted to ask?
Most of us know these conversations matter. Many of us just don't know where to begin.
Live Well, Die Well is a special morning tea hosted by Palliative Care ACT & Health Care Consumers' Association as part of Dying to Know Day.
This isn't a series of formal presentations. Instead, you'll enjoy morning tea while our guest speakers rotate between tables throughout the event. Every conversation is an opportunity to ask questions, hear different perspectives and connect with local organisations that support people living with a life-limiting illness, their families and carers.
You'll have the opportunity to chat with experts in:
- Public and private palliative care services in the ACT
- Advance Care Planning
- Aged care
- Community support and respite
- Death doulas
- Grief and bereavement support
Whether you've been wondering what palliative care really is, how to document your wishes, what support is available for carers, or simply want to understand what's available in our community, this event offers a welcoming space where no question is too big or too small.
You don't need to have all the answers. You don't even need to know what to ask.
Just bring your curiosity—we'll provide the tea, the conversations and the local experts.
Because planning ahead isn't just about dying well.
It's about living well.
